HELIX alpha was founded on the belief that Life Science Real Estate requires specialist expertise, a European perspective and a deep understanding of both occupiers and institutional capital.
Martin Eberhardt and Patrick Schlump first worked together in 2009 and have collaborated at different stages of their careers since then. Their professional backgrounds include senior roles at Union Investment, Bouwfonds Investment Management (Rabobank), Corpus Sireo / Swiss Life and, most recently for Patrick, Praemia REIM.
Martin’s roots in Corporate Real Estate (Daimler-Benz, Deutsche Telekom) continue to shape HELIX alpha’s user-centric approach. Combined with Patrick’s extensive experience in institutional investment and fund management, their long-standing professional relationship provides a strong foundation for HELIX alpha’s next stage of development.
Buildings as innovation ecosystems
In Life Science Real Estate, technical infrastructure alone does not create a successful building. The working environment also matters – particularly in attracting and retaining highly qualified talent.
